"Blind in one eye for over 12 months, surprised to find out good eye was heading in the same direction. Dr Lewis Lam and his team not only corrected these ageing eyes, but I actually looked forward to my interactions with Dr Lam and his team. At no point did I feel uncertain of any procedure or interaction. Dr Lam even stepped in to save the day on my first surgery. The staff at the day surgery were going to cancel the operation because I had nobody to collect me after the operation. He suggested we do the operation under a local anaesthetic, negating the obvious issues of a deeper anaesthetic. I must say this option is not for everyone, due to total awareness of the operation. For me this solved the after anaesthetic issue and I had total trust in his ability. Operation was perfect, without any discomfort. We even chatted as it was happening. Still the staff due to insurance concerns were apprehensive to allow me to walk out the front door. Dr Lam offered to drive me home. Wow !! So impressed. Thx for everything."

"I went to Dr. Lewis Lam for my cataracts which were quite bad even though I’m relatively young for this condition (56 years). I had put off the procedure because I was a bit nervous but when my optometrist said I needed to consider having the procedure before my driving was effected I went ahead and made the appointment. Dr Lam is amazing - he made me feel so comfortable right from the get go. And the results are just incredible!! I now have better than 20/20 long distance vision. The procedure itself is very quick and everything ran like clockwork. My recovery was easy and with very minimal discomfort (just felt like a bit of dust in my eyes for the first 24 hours). I just wish I had done this sooner! My advice to anyone thinking about the cataract procedure is don’t hesitate - you are in excellent hands with Dr. Lam."
