Welcome to Armadale First Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts, located in the beautiful city of Armadale, Western Australia. As an establishment that focuses on gym, health, and self-defense, we offer a unique and comprehensive approach to martial arts training.
At Armadale First Tae Kwon Do, we pride ourselves on our traditional standards and progressive attitude. Our instructors are dedicated to teaching the original, non-competitive style of Taekwondo, which places emphasis on practical self-defense skills and the physical and mental development of our members.
We offer a range of benefits to our members, including a free trial lesson, family fee discounts, and no contracts. We believe in making martial arts accessible to everyone, which is why we accept members from the age of 6 to adults up to the age of 60.
Our training program consists of twice-weekly classes, and members also have the option to attend additional classes at other First Tae Kwon Do venues throughout the week at no extra cost. This allows our members to fully immerse themselves in their training and progress at their own pace.
Our diverse member base includes school children, university students, and professionals who understand the importance of sharpening their situational awareness and being mentally and physically ready for self-defense action, should the need arise. We believe that martial arts training not only equips individuals with practical skills but also instills discipline, confidence, and a sense of community.
First Tae Kwon Do was founded in Australia by Master Instructor Vernon Low, who began teaching Taekwondo in Adelaide, South Australia in the late 1960s. Since then, the school has expanded to Western Australia, with Armadale being one of our esteemed locations.
