"Finally managed to get down here to check the place out. An afternoon out for my elderly mother (92) as well. Ben is a wonderful and welcoming host. Just gorgeous!! From yummy food to delicious coffee, there's something for every palate. Lovely Chesterfields next to a fire place for you to relax and unwind. Then you can browse the plant life, gifts and homewares to buy, including some amazing sauces that come from Sunny Queensland. Will definitely be on my favourite cafe list. Come and say hi to the team, you won't be disappointed."

"Reasonable customer service from Ben, after explaining that my eggs Benedict was soaking wet and soggy (inedible) because the poached eggs must have been placed on the toast with excess ladle of water. I didn't get offered any refund or credit after I got toast with baked beans as a replacement. The beans were nice and homemade though. The attention to detail is somewhat lacking here and could easily be fixed. No sugar or spoons served with coffee/tea. No napkins provided on the table, I did.notice the holder was empty. Ben is working hard to train new staff and their inexperience showed. Will be an all round great place once more established. Well done Ben, it’s great to see something new and the plants add a lovely energy. Edit: went back today 24th January and had a delicious toasted sandwich, done on the pan - just like I prefer them. Great thick slice bread and it was yum. My dad had the pancakes and they were also delicious! Will be back and support this local biz again."

"I returned after their closure and reopening as "That Plant Cafe". The new location is fantastic, its homely and welcoming like the previous but bigger which is great for those who may have missed out previously! It also has the great vibe from before. I ordered the Smashed Avo and my Son had scrambled eggs on toast. My breakfast was amazing, the fresh heirloom tomatoes with the saltiness of the feta and balsamic tasted absolutely delicious. Then the fresh avocado and perfectly cooked toast to boot! My Son thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast too. Well done to the owners and the team. I'll definitely be back again soon."
