Welcome to Inner Journey Counselling Services, located at 26 Mabel Road in Lesmurdie, Australia. My name is Nikki, and I am a fully qualified and passionate counsellor and psychotherapist. I am dedicated to supporting individuals who are facing difficulties that impact their overall well-being and joy in life.

With a background in university-trained counselling and certification in Expressive Therapy, I bring a holistic and integrative approach to my practice. I have also received over 200 hours of training in Animal Assisted Therapy, which I offer as an additional modality.

Throughout my career, I have consistently attended workshops and training events to enhance my skills and knowledge. I also engage in regular clinical supervision to ensure the highest standard of care for my clients. By staying up to date with current best practices and working through a trauma-informed lens, I strive to empower individuals to build on their strengths and work towards overall well-being and recovery.

I work with individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. My approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each age group and the specific issues they may be facing. Whether you are seeking support to process past experiences, navigate present challenges, or embark on a journey of personal growth, I am here to provide a non-judgmental, empathic, and caring space for your healing journey.

Life can present unexpected events that leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or confused. I am here to help you navigate through these challenges, whether it be anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, or relationship difficulties. Together, we can find meaning, gain insight, and discover new ways to live a more fulfilling and authentic life.

In addition to individual counselling, I occasionally offer Expressive Therapy group workshops for self-discovery. These workshops provide a supportive environment for individuals to explore their creativity and gain deeper understanding of themselves.

As a registered provider, I am recognized by various Private Health Funds, including the Eligible Police Union and ahm. This means that eligible members may be entitled to benefits when seeking counselling services. Please check with your health provider for eligibility.
