"I had come in as soon as they opened this morning, I had a lot of swelling, sinus issues and had just been through a tooth extraction the on the Tuesday just gone and i was experincing a fair amount of issues and pain, I was quite upset and unwell, was brought through to be seen after being evaluated by another nurse then I had been seen by a lady named Georgia, I had such a wonderful experience with Georgia, she was very calming and so lovely, she asked lots of questions and I felt very listened to when explaining what i was experiencing and I don't enjoy going to doctors at the best of times as I find it really overwhelming, Georgia was able to interpret what was trying to say perfectly and what was going on for me, give me full clinical advice and really helped explain the process of what I was needing to do at home with medications she was giving to me and why i would be reacting different to other medications i was previously given, I had got everything she perscribed and started doing what she recommended and i have seen a drastic difference over the last few hours already with symptoms, swelling, respiratory/ sinuses, temperature and the dizziness, she really helped with lowering all symptoms and I had finally had a solid sleep for first time today and felt rested and my body had the aid its needed so I feel recovery will be a lot better now. Thank you to staff for seeing me, and especially Georgia for helping and for listening to me, I had a really positive experince and im very greatful."
"They worth no star. Very bad experience there. Took my 8 years old son there Friday afternoon because he had a fever. The receptionist told us that we will be charge $ 94. We have Been left in the isolation room for one hour. And after that, finally,The doctor came to talk to us for around 5 minutes ( during this time, he even answered a private phone call) . When we get back to the reception. They told me that we need to play $127!!!!!!! This is ridiculous!!"
"I took my 14 months old daughter on Saturday morning 15/7 to SJ Urgent Care Cannington at 8.20am. The admission was pretty quick. Doctor KM arrived to our ward after 30 minutes waiting, he observed her and we were told that she has unknown allergies. We were given a prescription and were advised to take 3 days only and she should be okay. We rushed to the chemist, luckily the pharmacist asked me to confirm her DOB and her weight. On the script Dr. KM wrote she is 3 years and 15 kgs while she is only 14 months and weigh less 8 kgs. The pharmacist called Dr. KM to confirm only to be told by him that it was the DOB that was written in his note and told the pharmacy just half the dose. Simple (for him). Disappointing for us. We can't imagine what had happened if we give the dose that was too much for her age. I'm still angry until now."
"Do not bring sick babies here, zero empathy, no monitoring initiated and poor communication and no system to prioritise patients. We arrived with a sick baby with high temperature (nearly 40) and waited 3 hours to see a doctor. I don't understand why you triage and then put people back into a cue. Doctor had zero urgency, swanning about eating snacks and taking personal phone call just as we got to "our turn" despite crying baby and distressed parents getting to end of tether. Many people allocated to the other doctor in and out within the hour. Total joke. We asked if we should just go to the hospital instead but kept getting told not long now... another 2 hours went past. We had to ask for temperature to get rechecked. Nursing staff did the best they could given the situation. Doctor also didn't even bother looking up file as he asked if baby was a girl, which he is not. Didn't ask age. Barely explained anything."
