Mundaring Recreation Ground Pavilion

Welcome to the Mundaring Recreation Ground Pavilion, located in the picturesque Shire of Mundaring, Western Australia. Situated on the grounds previously known as the old Showground, this establishment is a hub for recreational activities and a point of interest for locals and visitors alike.

Constructed in 1987, the Pavilion is part of a large recreation facility that encompasses an oval, arena, and basketball and netball courts. It boasts modern amenities, including air conditioning and heating, a spacious kitchen, a bar area, and an external courtyard. Whether you're hosting a community event, a sports tournament, or a social gathering, the Pavilion provides a versatile and comfortable space for all your needs.

Please note that the venue is not available to be hired for high-risk events, such as 16th, 18th, and 21st birthday parties. However, it is accessible to all, with a ramp leading from the car park onto the verandah and accessible car parking. The Pavilion also features accessible and ambulant toilets to cater to the needs of all visitors.

When it comes to booking the Pavilion, there are different rates available depending on the nature of your event. Community rates apply to groups or individuals who engage in non-profit activities, are incorporated bodies, or are recognized not-for-profit groups. Commercial rates, on the other hand, are for those who generate income for personal payment or profit, including State/Federal Government Agencies. Function rates cover up to six hours of hire, with additional hours charged at the applicable hourly rate. Please note that all bookings are subject to an administration fee of $8.90.
