Welcome to Maddington Education Support Centre (MESC), a nurturing institution located at 1951 Albany Highway in Australia. Our center provides a calm and caring environment where each child is valued and treated as an individual. With a motto of "We encourage every child to reach their full potential," we strive to empower our students to excel in all areas of their lives.

At MESC, we cater to students from Kindergarten to Year 6 who have a diagnosis that meets eligibility in accordance with Department of Education processes and criteria. Our highly specialized staff are experts in special needs education and design tailored programs to cater to the diverse learning styles, backgrounds, and diagnostic needs of our students.

To ensure a comprehensive approach to education, all our classrooms are set up using a structured rotational model. This format guarantees that our students receive one-on-one attention when working on their curriculum goals. We also place a strong emphasis on positive behavior support, utilizing the 1,2,3 Magic system to assist children with compliance behaviors and staying on-task. Our dedicated Social/Emotional Learning Coordinator oversees behavior management requirements and supports students' emotional learning needs.

At Maddington ESC, we prioritize the development of social skills in all areas. Our core values of kindness, listening, bucket emptying, and doing one's best are integrated into our curriculum to foster positive interactions with others. We believe in a whole-school approach that ensures all children are equipped with essential strategies for positive social interactions.

Transportation is made convenient for our students, with many having access to a school bus service. This door-to-door service is provided free of charge, subject to availability, by the Perth Public Transport Authority (PTA). Families outside the catchment area are also welcome to transport their children to our school to benefit from our exceptional learning environment.

Equipped with the latest technology, all our students have their own iPads, and every room is equipped with the latest smart boards for interactive learning. We have also invested in coding tools such as Robots and Bee Bots to enhance students' engagement and creativity. In addition, we boast spacious play areas and modern play equipment to encourage physical activity and exploration.

We believe in working closely with families and their NDIS providers to ensure the best outcomes for our students. By collaborating with therapists and incorporating their therapy goals into our curriculum, we can effectively support the children's holistic development.
