Room for improvement Liked · The bed was comfy and it was a short drive to Seaworld Disliked · Walking into the room there was a musky smell, our fridge/freezer had someone's left over ice cream in it and a used water bottle under the bed. The air con has not been cleaned and it just did not feel clean. I went out and purchased disinfectant wipes and Glen 20 before we showered. The toilet paper that was on the holder was left from previous people and the door to our room was mouldy. The pool was green and the photos on the website must of been taken when they first opened."

"My stay at Pacific coast motel on 24th July 2021 was very unpleasant. Unlike motels I have stayed at in the past this one was not clean in many aspects. I first noticed food was left in the fridge from a previous customer and the microwave plate had a yellow dried liquid? stuck on it. As I was getting ready to go to the Cavill I took some photos to bring to the managers attention as booking, check in and check out of the motel is completely contact free. There was black hair in the shower that clearly doesn't belong to me. The glass doors didn't provide a nice clear view. The list goes on. While at the Cavill I Text management as i believed they were probably not aware the room had not been cleaned. At that time I was given the option of another room. At the time I also said it was ok in reference to the microwave plate. I didn't continue my conversation as I was in the middle of a very important function so put my phone away. I arrived back around midnight and changing rooms at that hour would have been something I shouldn't have had to do, especially at my age. I was tired so brushed my teeth and washed up when the stopper in the water spout blew out throwing grey bits of whatever it was all over skin. I was not impressed. But glad I didn't eat or drink tea while I was there. As it was I didn't get a code to go into the room before as arrival, I had to call first, plus wasn't informed that there were no blankets so it was a bit cold and hard to get comfortable. When I got out of bed my impression was left solid in the mattress, and it caused a lot of back pain. I emailed management during the week and received no reply. I called the following week to discuss the issues as I didn't get what was paid for. I asked about a refund as the room was not up customer satisfaction. As I explained to the manager, I did use power and water so was happy for a partial refund. The manager hung up on me. As I said, I didn't believe management were aware of the condition of the room, or that they even inspected any of the rooms frequently because of the contact free situation."
