We have a Veterinarian who holds an internationally recognized Certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Therapist, as well as Membership by examination to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation – Canine and Veterinary Radiology. Additionally, we have a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is certified as a Canine Rehabilitation Vet Nurse. With our team's expertise, we ensure the provision of comprehensive and quality care for your beloved pets.
We take pride in being an authorized internship site for the Canine Rehabilitation Institute and a member of the Australian Canine Rehabilitation Association. These affiliations demonstrate our commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements in veterinary rehabilitation.
Our lead veterinarian, Dr. Yoko Clinch, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. With her BSc BVMS (Hons) MANZCVS qualifications in Veterinary Radiology and Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation – Canine, as well as her Certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Therapist, Dr. Clinch is dedicated to providing the best possible care for your pets.
At Veterinary Rehabilitation Services, our therapists specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurologic disorders using physiotherapy principles adapted for dogs and cats. Our services include various modalities such as laser therapy, PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy, and TENS/EMS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation/Electrical Muscle Stimulation). We also employ soft tissue therapies like myofascial trigger point release, massage, and joint mobilizations. Additionally, we offer therapeutic exercises tailored to your pet's individual needs.
