Bombay Street Reserve
About the Business
Welcome to Bombay Street Reserve, located in Oaklands Park, Australia. This establishment is not only a park but also a point of interest for visitors. Please note that there are no toilets available at this reserve, but you can find the nearest one on the National Public Toilet Map.
One of the highlights of Bombay Street Reserve is its dirt pump track, which provides an exciting detour for cyclists along the Sturt River Linear Park or the Marino Rocks Greenway. As you explore the reserve, you'll find an abundance of trees that offer shade throughout the area. The large grassy mound provides a perfect spot for a quiet picnic away from the hustle and bustle of Oaklands Road. From this vantage point, you can even catch a glimpse of the electric trains as they whiz past.
Speaking of the Sturt River Linear Park, Bombay Street Reserve is conveniently situated along this beautiful park. If you're up for more adventure, we recommend downloading the trail map from our Sturt River Linear Park webpage and spending a day exploring the stunning Sturt River.
Additionally, this reserve is located along the Marino Rocks Greenway, which connects the City to the Coast to Vines Rail Trail. So, whether you're a nature enthusiast or a cycling enthusiast, Bombay Street Reserve is the perfect starting point for your outdoor adventures.
If you're planning a visit in the near future, please note that there is an ongoing construction project at Oaklands Estate Reserve. Stage 2 of the upgrade is set to begin on February 18, 2019, and will include new playground equipment, additional picnic shelters and BBQ facilities, pathway upgrades, and improvements to the Japanese Garden. While Stage 1 of the upgrade is already completed, some sections will remain closed until April. For more information, please read our construction updates.
Keep in mind that Oaklands Estate Reserve is being transformed into a regional playground that will incorporate recreation and picnic facilities, play opportunities, pathway connections, and beautiful landscaping. The construction works will occur in two stages, allowing parts of the reserve to remain open during the process. The project is scheduled to be completed by June 2019.

Reviews
"This is a nice park where your dog can go off leash. There is only partial fencing that I could see, so you cant get locked in as someone else stated. This is a different park to others nearby as it's not a wetland. Still there is plenty to do here, lots of cyclists. The BBQ needs an upgrade! Just saw a train whizz by, seemed very close."
"Unfortunately Bombay Reserve is shown up by the neighbours Oaklands and Kenton. Good sized area with limited grass no playground, one path, small dirt carpark and is unfenced. Has some good trees. Grass seeds can be a problem. No water."
"Nice park to take the dog or kids for a walk. Just make sure you know the opening hours otherwise you could be locked in."
"Really nice and chill area. Love it!"
"A great place to play basketball or tennis. Courts keep clean. Bbq area. Kids play ground with modern equipment also adult gym."
