Welcome to Bellevue Dining at the McLaren, a historic establishment located on Main Road in McLaren Vale, Australia. With a rich legacy dating back to 1857, when it was known as 'The Clifton Hotel', this institution has been an integral part of the local community for over a century. In 1901, Thomas Hardy purchased the hotel, adding a gable wing and renaming it 'The Bellevue Hotel', a name it kept until 1939.

Situated amidst the stunning backdrop of Hardy's Tintara gardens and the oldest Moreton bay fig tree in the southern hemisphere, our dining room offers breathtaking views that perfectly complement the authentic dining experience we provide. Our menu is a true reflection of the Fleurieu and Southern Vales wine and produce region, showcasing the best of what the area has to offer.

Under the guidance of Chef Glenn Worrall and his talented team, we have crafted a menu that combines traditional pub fare with the use of high-quality local ingredients and South Australian seafood. Drawing on Chef Simon's extensive culinary expertise, we also offer a selection of his favorite dishes in a share-style format. Additionally, our specials menu constantly features innovative and impressive restaurant-quality dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.
