Welcome to Monkey Bars PreKindy, located at 39 Coops Avenue in Thornlie, Western Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, Monkey Bars is dedicated to providing a unique educational experience for young children. With a focus on play-based learning, we strive to enhance intellectual growth and prepare our students for a bright future.

Founded in 2000, Monkey Bars originally operated in Canning Vale before relocating to Thornlie in 2022. Our center reflects the diverse backgrounds and cultures of the area, creating an inclusive environment for all children. We take great pride in our dedicated staff and enthusiastic students, who are always eager to learn, create, and grow together.

At Monkey Bars, we believe that all children are capable, competent, resourceful, curious, imaginative, and inquisitive individuals. Our play-based approach fosters a child's natural curiosity and thirst for knowledge, drawing from the best early childhood teaching theories and practices from around the world. We align our program with the Early Years Learning Framework to ensure a comprehensive and effective learning experience.

Our transformative learning experiences are designed to support children on their unique learning journey. Our educators create a safe and open setting where they can guide students in exploring information and the world around them at any stage of their development.

We constantly adapt and develop our programs based on the latest research on educational innovations and theories, as well as the needs of our children. All of our PreKindy programs are Childcare Subsidy approved, providing financial assistance to eligible families. We operate for 48 weeks per year, closing only for 4 weeks over the Christmas school holidays.

To join our program, your child needs to be at least 2 years old, and toilet training is not a requirement. We understand that each child develops at their own pace and work closely with you and your child to ensure a smooth transition.

We offer morning sessions from 9am to 12pm or full-day sessions from 9am to 2pm. To secure a place in our program, a non-refundable registration fee of $50 is applied. Once accepted, a bond is taken, which is refundable and helps us meet licensing requirements. We also require families to set up a direct debit system for payment.

Our morning sessions are priced at $45 before the Childcare Subsidy is applied, while the full-day session is priced at $64 before the subsidy. To determine your eligibility for the Childcare Subsidy, you can use the online estimator provided by the Australian Government's Department of Education.
