Welcome to Goodstart Early Learning Blackwood! Our beautiful purpose-built centre is located in the Adelaide Hills, in the lush leafy suburb of Blackwood. Situated at 39 Coromandel Parade, we are in the heart of an old, established, close-knit community where community pride is paramount.

At Goodstart Blackwood, we provide high-quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our educators are passionate and committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating early learning environment. We use the Early Years Learning Framework to guide our education program and scaffold children's learning.

Our centre features three age-appropriate play spaces and equipment, allowing children to have lots of fun in our spacious yard. They can enjoy playing in our big sand pit, climbing equipment, and garden beds. We believe in providing holistic, natural, and relaxed home-like environments for our children to explore and learn within.

Our centre offers a range of features and services to support your child's learning and development. We have a passionate and highly trained teaching staff, a school readiness and transition to school program, and a child-centred, teacher-guided learning framework. We also provide access to Storypark, your child's online learning portfolio, which allows you to stay connected and engaged with your child's progress.

We understand the importance of nutrition, which is why we have an onsite qualified cook who creates fresh and nutritious meals daily, catering for all dietary requirements. We also provide meals, nappies, wipes, cot linen, and sunscreen at no extra charge.

As the Centre Director, I, Vanessa Rameh, bring over 27 years of experience in the childcare industry and over 11 years as a Director. I am dedicated to providing pedagogical leadership to ensure the provision of high-quality care. Effective leadership, management, direction, and support to staff and families are my top priorities.

Our centre is conveniently located near local shops, schools, and community services. We share our car park with the All Hallows Church, so we ask you to take care when entering the car park for the safety of children and adults who may be walking through.
