"Dave was professional and pleasant at first until concerns re finish on some of the cabinets. Paid to have plans drawn up and a number of panels were cut to size incorrectly. One never replaced only filled gap with piece of timber for which he believed was no big deal I could paint it. Screws were put through the face of the cabinetry and taken away for repair. When replacing paint work on shelf was damaged to which he denied and blamed the electrician who had not been on sight. Screw holes were bogged and at night are visible to which he has advised that it is within Australian Standards if you can't see it in daylight. No final invoice issued whilst waiting 4 months for repairs. When invoice received and repairs had not been made he discounted cost of labor to remove the panel but advised it was the painters fault and cost of repair was not his. We had no dealings with the painter to follow that through. At no time did he offer to repair or replace the panels. He believes he finished the job as per quote so would not recommend this contractor if you want to be assured any errors in workmanship will be rectified."
