Another unique offering is the Assam Laksa, a noodle dish with thicker traditional laksa rice noodles in a fish and assam/tamarind soup. It is both flavorful and satisfying.

For those who enjoy sharing dishes, our Malaysia Style Lor Bak is a great choice. It is nicely fried and served sliced up with bean curd, showcasing the marinated meat inside. Since opening in June 2018, Penang Hawker Food has become a local favorite eatery. Despite a recent change in ownership, our head chef continues to cook up delicious and authentic Malaysian cuisine. Our restaurant has brought life back to the little corner on Barbican Street, and the packed days are a testament to the quality of our cuisine and services.
