About Robertson Street Reserve
Welcome to Robertson Street Reserve, located at Reynella, Castle Street, 7 in Australia. This establishment is a beautiful park and a point of interest in the community. At Robertson Street Reserve, we strive to provide a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all visitors.
In addition to being a popular park, Robertson Street Reserve also offers opportunities for community groups to generate income during the summer by collecting beach ramp fees. This initiative allows local organizations to contribute to the upkeep of the park while benefiting from the vibrant beach atmosphere.
Onkaparinga, the region where Robertson Street Reserve is located, has a vibrant sports scene. From BMX and para athletics world championships to the AFL and FIFA Women's World Cup, Onkaparinga's athletes have made their mark on the international stage. This thriving sports culture extends to the youngest members of the community, as Surf Life Saving's newest Nippers will take to the water this summer.
The council of Onkaparinga is committed to sustainability and has implemented a program to reduce the emissions of its buildings. This initiative has been recognized nationally and is a finalist for a prestigious award to be announced on 7 September. Moreover, the latest participants of the Leadership Onkaparinga program have learned about the science of compassion and how it benefits communities, further enhancing the council's commitment to the well-being of its residents.
Exciting developments are also taking place at Robertson Street Reserve. With a $1.5 million expansion underway, the park will soon offer even more opportunities and amenities for the community to enjoy. This expansion aims to enhance aesthetics and improve stormwater management and plant biodiversity through the addition of a vegetated swale and complementary plantings.
The council of Onkaparinga is dedicated to addressing important community issues. One such issue is rising costs and access to quality food. To better understand their role in tackling food insecurity, the council is conducting a survey that will help inform their strategies and initiatives.
Art and culture are thriving in Onkaparinga, and you can immerse yourself in the South Australian Living Artists Festival from 1β31 August. This festival showcases the talents of local artists and provides a platform for creativity and expression.
Robertson Street Reserve is proud to be part of a community that is inspired by the Matildas and the FIFA Women's World Cup. This global event is inspiring a new generation of soccer players and fans, contributing to the vibrant sports culture in Onkaparinga.
The state government is also seeking community input on a section of Main South Road at Old Noarlunga and Seaford Heights. Your views and opinions are important in shaping the future of this area.
We are thrilled to announce that Kings Court Reserve in Onkaparinga Heights is undergoing an upgrade. This reserve, handed to the council by the developer, is being enhanced with a vegetated swale for better stormwater management and plant biodiversity. These improvements create new habitats and contribute to the overall beauty of the reserve.
At Robertson Street Reserve, we believe in supporting our community. That's why we encourage all Onkaparinga residents to participate in an important survey about putting food on the table. Your input is valuable and will help guide initiatives to address food insecurity in the region.
Join us for Trucks on Tour, where you can explore different trucks, meet the drivers, and have fun with food vendors, roving entertainment, demonstrations, and even a sensory hour. This event promises to be a great day out for the whole family.
Get into the festive spirit by participating in the Onkaparinga Christmas Pageant, held on Sunday 19 November 2023. Applications are now open, so don't miss your chance to be part of this joyful celebration.
If you're a crafting enthusiast, bring your latest project to Noarlunga Library and get crafty with like-minded individuals. Additionally, there are opportunities to learn new skills, such as carving with a whittling knife or exploring the incredible world of artificial intelligence.
Finally, the City of Onkaparinga acknowledges and pays respect to the Kaurna Nation and its people, who are the traditional owners and custodians of the land in the area now known as the City of Onkaparinga. We honor and respect the Elders, both past and present.
At Robertson Street Reserve, we invite you to explore, relax, and enjoy the beauty of our park and the vibrant community of Onkaparinga.

Reviews of Robertson Street Reserve
"Great place for kids to learn how to ride a bike and all signs that are on the road."
"A great place to bring the kids for skating, biking, scootering, tennis, picnicking and playground fun. The two road safety tracks are a fantastic place to teach your kids the road rules while they ride their favourite bike/scooter."
"Such a great park! It has something for everyone - scooter/bikes on the fake road, netball, basketball, tennis courts, playground, bbq, water dispenser, toilets, shelter and table, and a big shelter are with no table (which is a bit odd but useful if you bring a table I suppose!). It does seem to be a common spot that people walk dogs, often off leash, so be aware if you have little people that are scared of dogs."
"This park is a lovely family park. It has lots on offer. Really good for kids to bring their bikes to, and ride around. As there's a bike road safety feature. It's best to look for yourself. I'd recommend it for an outing. Nice park for different ages. My dog enjoys walking past it as there's a creek to look at and lots of plants to snuffle. Lots of grassed area."
"Great park for all ages. Lots of space for picnics toilets shelter swings slides ect very busy on weekends great during week"
