"We had one small bedroom, had to get dressed if we needed to go to the toilet at night as it was in a separate area, quite far from town, the decor was very old and needs updating, not very good value for money, the host was lovely but won't be going back there"

"Had high hopes for Tree Top House for a night away in Mt Tamborine. Unfortunately it was a bit disappointing. We were told to park next to the stone wall, but there were 2 cars already parked there so had to try and squeeze in behind one car and very close to the edge of the road. You have to go outside to get to the toilet and the separate room where the toilet and shower are, it had a very strong and strange smell that was quite confronting. The room that we stayed was actually really nice and clean, the bed was comfy and there was a massive TV with Netflix, which was great. I noticed there was no aircon but thankfully it was not needed, maybe in Mt Tamborine it is not needed anyway. There was a pedestal fan though. Sadly the weather was not favourable for a good view of the Gold Coast, but on a clear day I think it would be amazing."

"The view is excellent. Rooms are clean and very very nice. The owners are extremely generous, helpful and they were very genuine in hoping we'd enjoy our stay. Although there is room for sleeping kids, I feel it is more balanced towards couples and you would not regret booking a reservation. Angela had made croissants with a local jam for our stay. Even though we'd eaten them a day late, they were among the best I'd had."
