About the Business
Welcome to Sonas Early Learning & Care Dayton! We are an establishment and point of interest located at 20 Repton Street, offering high-quality care and education for children in Australia. Our dedicated staff at Sonas are passionate about spending quality time with your children and creating a happy, caring, and supportive environment.
We understand that transitioning into a new environment can be challenging for children, which is why our experts excel at breaking down any barriers and alleviating anxiety. We believe in engaging with the children and having fun together, ensuring that no child is left behind or overlooked.
At Sonas, we continuously reflect on our practices to provide the highest quality care in line with our service philosophy, the National Quality Framework, and recognized guidelines. Our approach is centered around Sonas Learning Studios, which provide open-ended learning environments for children to engage, explore, learn, and develop their skills and abilities.
We deeply value and protect the childhood experiences of our little ones. For our babies, we provide a safe space where they can develop their skills while receiving the care they need on a daily basis. They also have the opportunity to explore other studios and interact with older children, including sharing meals in our family room.
The transition from the nest to the larger Sonas Family Group is dependent on each child's social and emotional readiness and the achievement of key motor skills. This transition typically occurs between 15 to 18 months, but may vary for each child.
Our studios offer a range of experiences tailored to the needs, interests, and abilities of all children. The Zen studio provides a calm space for quiet play, rest, and mindfulness activities. The Discovery studio focuses on science, technology, engineering, and mathematical concepts. The Arts studio encourages children to explore their creative side through visual, dramatic, and expressive arts. Our garden serves as an outdoor learning space that incorporates elements from all studios.
The family room promotes independence and self-help skills, fostering confidence and self-esteem. Here, children engage in meaningful mealtimes with peers of all ages, learning important social skills and etiquette.
At Sonas, we believe in building a child's community. By allowing children to build relationships with children of different age groups, we introduce new skills that support their growth and thriving.
Join us at Sonas Early Learning & Care Dayton, where we treasure and protect the childhood experiences of our most precious little ones.

"My two children attended the service here for a few months last year while we were waiting for the Wanneroo service to open and they loved the centre. It was such a fantastic opportunity for them to experience the mixed aged family groupings and spend their days together in the fantastic outdoor areas. My son especially loved the fort and would always spend his time out there."
"The receptionist/manager is very very rude, I don’t think she likes her job, or maybe she got too comfortable. Seems they don’t care about people or the kids, they are just after the money. Kids are all sharing the same toys and all are sticking it in their mouth, no proper hygiene cleaning seems to be happening, considering Covid and all. 1 star is even too much to rate them. Please avoid this place."
"Unfortunately Sonas is tied into Bizhub, and when any financial glitches, which frequently occurred happened, they just handball the issues to Bizhub. Bizhub can only be contacted via email and are about as helpful as a soggy piece of cardboard. They charged as almost $200 after we pulled our son out of daycare saying it was money owed from centrelink. Until Sonas drops Bizhub, I'd recommend steering clear."
"Educators are lovely but the owners are outright rude and just all about the $$. If we could give no star, we would. The owners say one thing and do not carry through with it. Charged us fees during the bushfire closure when they asked the centre manger to advise parents that we will get a refund. In the end they went against their word and only uses bizhub who respond via email. No guts to even talk to customers directly. When questioned and disputed over over charged fees when CCS fail to go through during public holidays, they made it such a big deal when parents want to get refunded. Some parents didn't even get a response. We got ours from emailing them every 2 days. And because of their high charges, we had to incur a high charge from our card, which they did not want to bare some of the cost of. In the end, they decided to terminate both our childrens care, conveniently waiving the 2 weeks notice. Caused us a lot ofstress. They do not put families first, just all about the $$$. Would suggest any parents who have any issues with the owners to report to consumer protection. We were sad to leave as our youngest had been there since 6 months old and now almost 3 but we are glad we don't have to put up with inconsiderate owners anymore. P.S* The centre managers have no say when it comes to alot of admin stuff. Everything had to be dealt with via bizhub who only responds via email. Nonetheless our children were well taken care of by the centre manager and educators whom our kids adore and miss very much."
"Beautiful facility, always clean and safe building HOWEVER, as told by numerous staff who I eventually followed to Nido, management is poor. My daughter had a new educator ever fortnight. She would meet someone and find comfort in them, then they would disappear. I watched her go from a confident, independent child to scared and hyper emotional. Her behaviour changed dramatically, something which 6m later I am still trying to curb. For the same price, send your child somewhere they will feel safe and loved"
