Clarkson Reserve
About the Business
Welcome to Clarkson Reserve, a beautiful establishment located at 48 Clarkson Road in Maylands, Australia. As a park and point of interest, Clarkson Reserve offers a range of activities and events for the community to enjoy.
One of the exciting events happening at Clarkson Reserve is the Community Art Awards. Entries for the 2023 edition will close on Friday, September 6th. This is a fantastic opportunity for local artists to showcase their talent and creativity.
In addition to the art awards, the City of Bayswater has implemented a new local law regarding the keeping and control of cats. This law prohibits cats from 43 sites across Bayswater, ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.
From October 1st to November 30th, the City will also be hosting its first Flourish Community Arts Festival. With over 65 events, this festival promises to be a vibrant celebration of art in all its forms. There will be something for everyone, regardless of age or artistic preference.
For parents and their children, Clarkson Reserve offers a program every Tuesday focused on social play and literacy development. This program provides a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow through engaging activities.
If you're looking for a way to relax and unwind, join us on Wednesday mornings throughout September for flow yoga. Led by experienced instructors, these sessions will guide you and your child through positive poses and blissful meditation, promoting a sense of peace and well-being.
Safety is also a priority at Clarkson Reserve. That's why we are hosting a workshop on CPR and first aid for infants and children, facilitated by Royal Life Saving WA. This workshop will equip parents and caregivers with essential life-saving skills.
To stay updated with all the exciting news, events, and projects happening in the City of Bayswater, be sure to follow us on social media. We strive to keep you informed about everything that's happening in our vibrant community.
For any inquiries or to visit our Civic Centre and Council Chambers, you can find us at 61 Broun Avenue, Morley. We also invite you to connect with us and stay in touch with everything happening in Bayswater.
Lastly, we would like to acknowledge and pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of the land, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We honor their elders, both past and present, and recognize their ongoing connection to the land.

Reviews
"Lots of shade and space. Easy parking, the times I have been there usually quiet too. Great for taking reactive dogs for this reason."
"Nice river side walking trails."
"A wonderful place to take a walk by the river located in a very quiet area at the back of Maylands. Away from main roads. Large open parks making it a fantastic place for a picknick lunch with friends under a large shade tree or purpose built shelter."
"There is 3 bbq, 3 gazebos, 1 on a platform 2 sets of activity parks for kids to play on tennis courts, bowing club. Everyone enjoys to come down and fish, seats to just sit and enjoy the view and the accasional mozzy or two"
"Clarkson Reserve in Maylands is a wonderful spot in summer time or winter. Summer time you can sit on the grass and watch the world go by whilst admiring the stunning view over the river. You can also take a walk or ride a bike along the pathways next to Clarkson Reserve and follow it as far as you like. Along the way and at Clarkson Reserve you'll see an abundance of birds including Pelicans, and sometime in the river you might be lucky enough to spot one or two dolphins swimming."
