Buttercups Childcare & Early Learning Centre – Bassendean (Amare)

"I wanted to share our experience with the enrollment process at Buttercups Bassendean. Overall, we have had a positive journey with this childcare center, with my son attending for over three years (formerly Amare) and receiving great support from the caring staff. However, we must express our disappointment regarding the enrollment of our younger child, who is a sibling of our current attendee. Despite providing nearly a year's notice and our long-standing relationship with the center, we were unable to secure a spot for our second child. This unexpected turn of events left us in a challenging situation, as we hoped to keep both children together for convenience and familiarity. Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to switch both children to another daycare center in the end. It was not an easy choice, considering the positive experiences we had at Buttercups Bassendean. While we acknowledge accomodating and managing waitlists can be a complex task, we believe that Buttercups Bassendean can improve its enrollment process by giving careful consideration to families who have been loyal to the center and have provided ample notice for sibling placements. It would make a world of difference to families like ours who value the continuity and ease of having their children in the same daycare setting. Despite this setback, I still appreciate the care and support that Buttercups Bassendean has provided to my family over the years. I hope my feedback is taken into consideration and helps to enhance the enrollment process for the benefit of all families involved."

"We’ve been so happy with Amare. After a tough time finding a centre we felt comfortable with, we saw a stall at the Old Perth Road markets promoting a new childcare centre in Bassendean and from the first moment we knew we’d found the right place. Our top priority was that our son would be comforted should he need it, and they really do deliver on that. I was surprised by how many other centres seemed to fall short in that area or just felt like businesses. Our son was fine when he started but from what I’ve seen cuddles are readily offered whenever there’s a child in need of some comfort. There’s also a lot of thought put into the baby’s craft or daily activity and they always have something fun and different for the babies to try. Steph, Kohana and Georgia in the baby’s room are wonderful and so is everyone else we’ve met there."
