"An unusual Liquor Land store, stuck on the side of the Civic Hotel, predominately a drive-through but walk-in OK. Possibly due to the demographic location it has a fairly decent selection of wine. A possible sign of the times more than just the spirits are locked up with a few of the fridges also secured by locks."

"I am a regular. Love the new look. The store is looking great and lots of product to choose from. I was actually there the day "ANGELINE PRINCE" (below comment) came into the store. I remember it, as it was Australia Day and was very busy. I was at the fridge getting wine when I heard the commotion and I think the manager handled the incident very well considering the behaviour this lady portrayed. I don't recall the Manager being rude at all, firm yes but the yelling I heard was coming from Angeline after the Manager had nicely asked her to move forward so the others could drive in as it was causing a road block that was going out onto the main road. The Manager offered to get the product for her as it was a drive through and unsafe for her to get out being so busy. She refused to listen so was told if she was going to get out then please park up in the carpark or move forward so others could be served the convenience of a drive through so it wasn't causing a traffic jam for cars trying to get past. Once she saw it was aboriginals her comment was very inappropriate this was also heard by the aboriginals and they started up on her. She then come into the store and started yelling and putting her finger in the Managers face advancing demanding to speak to the manager which she was. The Manager then said if you are going to continue to abuse me and the customers you can leave and she left yelling all the way to her car. By that time I was being served and the store was very busy with customers. It was so loud it stopped us all as she was getting quite irate about not being allowed to park in the drive through and get out. I thought that's why people drive through to be served and leave promptly. Good on her for telling her to leave I would've done the same thing."

"Went through drive-through today checked my phone to check what I needed to add to a cocktail for the long weekend got abused by the new owner because a car full of aboriginals behind me were complaining that they couldn’t Pull in. I had only just pulled up it would not have been one minute. I’ve been coming to this bottle shop for five years and the staff have always been amazing. Definitely won’t be returning and definitely not impressed about being spoken to the way I was today. The new owner a large kiwi lady, proceeded to tell me in a very derogatory tone what a drive-through was not just once but over and over in my face. Not sure that she understands that a drive-through is about service and convenience for their customers."

"Avoid this drive thu store. I’m usually understanding and don’t bother with reviews and whether or not I get poor service or not, but a young girl with blond hair was so rude she doesn’t deserve a job. No excuses for how she was acting out. Really would Recommend avoiding this place. Other than that the other staff members have been easy . Maybe stop by to witness this girls attitude it’s quite a spectacle. Also did let her know about it but definitely didn’t sink in."
