"whilst I was unable to get the meats I wanted shopping on Friday after 1pm I was able to get everything else I needed and bargains as well. I generally enjoy shopping at this Coles store but I feel at times there could be more checkout operators available as I do not like self service when I have a large shop and need to weigh my own produce."
"Just like all Coles shops, but they don't have the specials that woollies has in the same week"
"Regular occurrence that there is no one at the delicatessen to serve customers on opening. Other employees walk past, make eye contact and continue doing what they’re doing. This morning after waiting 10 minutes I went to the service desk and was told someone would be with me shortly. I go back to the deli and an employee appears with trays of BBQ chickens and tells me they will be with me shortly and proceeds to place all the BBQ chickens into the cabinet. There is no one waiting for chickens. Finally I got served at 8:15am."
"Convienient but small selection of food and sometimes can be picked clean pretty fast; also sometimes the milk has spoiled in the store's fridge , so when i get back i have to bin it once i find it has been spoiled. I dont know how this happens but my guess is that their storage isnt particularly good."
"Placed an online order and all the meet that we received was to expire within 2 days. Including the pork roast in a vacuum sealed package. No one buys a vacuum sealed pork roast to have to freeze and defrost it in 3 days because its due to expire in 2. A roast that is set to go bad in 2 days should be marked down. Roasts take time to cook, and let be honest, nobody is having them on week days. Plus they charged us for more oranges than we received. While 3 of the 4 oranges we did get were rotten. We received a credit for the oranges after complaining but fact is, we shouldn't have to. With the prices they are charging for food these days we should be getting better than what they are giving. They love to blame covid for so much but this is not a covid induced issue. This is a quality standards, ethical and training issue. I have found Woolworth's is definitely more ethical in this regard. We have placed 3 order through woolworths so far and have not had 1 issue yet. We have placed 2 orders with Coles and twice we have had to email after getting the orders home. It is highly annoying. Edit: 3rd online order and yet another issue with expired meat. This roast pork had the day of expiry missing on the use by. We opened it and it and is smells absolutely disgusting. Obviously the management of this Coles take no pride in actually managing the store/employees."
