"On 16 August I and my husband visited this store at Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast. The manager was extremely helpful and professional and assisted us to purchase over $600 of goods. As she was alone at the time (early morning) she could not leave the store and had to message the branch at the nearby Myer department store to bring down items in the correct size for us to purchase. The Myer staff member (elderly and over weight female) that brought these items down was rude and extremely unprofessional. She had to make two trips and on both occasions glared at us, threw the items on the counter and said, 'I'm not happy' before marching off. The manager apologised for this staff member's behaviour saying, 'I'm sorry you had to witness that'. Later we visited Mayer and when this staff member saw us she started loudly complaining to a colleague, 'I had to run half my stock downstairs earlier this morning'. I'm so disappointed and offended by her attitude and behaviour. She should be grateful for our support of this business, not making us feel guilty for purchasing items. At the very least she should be disciplined. She seriously detracts from the shopping experience."

It is very hard to find great customer service, but with Mary she was such great help helping us find the exact fit, colour and style. Would recommend this store and brand to anyone. "I am very impressed with the customer service! Not only was Ursula helpful and friendly, she went above and beyond: she went to Myer to check R&G stock there , sent me the pics of the shirts I was after, Facetimed me to make sure she got the right ones. Within an hour the telephone transaction was completed, the receipt was emailed, the six shirts were packed and the package left the store (we live in Melbourne). Excellent customer service with a personal touch. Thanks again, Ursula!"

"They sell beautiful linen shirts at Rodd & Gunn. Excellent quality and they launder well. You pay a bit more but it's worth it for the quality. It's one of the few stores that I can actually get my hubby to enter and try stuff on. Great customer service. Worth a look see"
