"Firstly this place is very expensive, $10 for a small piece of fish and $8 for small chips. The batter was way too thick and oily and had large air bubbles inside it. The kids that work there are nice though, and the actual fish inside was good."
"Best takeaway on beach road. Could hardly get my mouth around the "Hunger Buster" burger. Nice amount of salad and other toppings. The burger patty was quite dry, very generous, but dry. Possibly mix some egg with the meat or do something else to moisten it. Obviously lean beef mince was used. Otherwise it was very nice. Also had a piece of freshly caught flake.which was also of a generous size and this was perfectly cooked. Thanks, "Champion takeaway" for a very satisfying meal at only $20. Good job. Originally put 4 stars but changed it to 5 for shreer effort. It's nice to looked after as a customer. Much appreciated."
"Without doubt the best takeaway shop in Australia, its a big call but we reckon its true. These guys consistently produce top quality tasty food. This family owned and run business can get busy around meal times but if you're patient you will be rewarded with one of the best takeaway meals you've had. We've smashed hamburgers, chicken packs, fish packs and their salads are second to none. My middle age expanding waistline is evidence that I've frequented fast food joints most of my adult life. It's my opinion these guys are the best at what they do, so we'll be going back. Grab a feed, head down to the beach and just enjoy. Give them a go."
