Welcome to Somerset Masters Swim Club, located at 42 Somerset Street in East Victoria Park, Australia. Our club is an establishment and a point of interest for swimming enthusiasts who are looking to improve their skills, maintain their fitness, and enjoy the company of like-minded individuals.

At Somerset Masters, we cater to swimmers who already have experience in the water. We provide an environment that allows them to enhance their swimming abilities while having fun and fostering friendships. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or just starting to explore the sport, we welcome anyone aged 18 years or older with an interest in swimming for fitness and enjoyment.

Age is no barrier at Somerset Masters. Swimming is one of the few sports that can be actively participated in throughout life, and we have members ranging from 18 years old to their 90s. We believe in promoting a healthy lifestyle, which is why we strive to create a smoke and drug-free environment, ensure adequate sun protection, provide a safe space for activities, and encourage healthy diets.

If you're curious about joining Somerset Masters, we invite you to have a free tryout with Masters Swimming. On Sunday, November 6, we will be hosting a free and fun training session at our home pool, Aqualife Centre, on Somerset Street. This event is open to anyone who wants to experience Masters Swimming. Be at the poolside by 9:15 am for a 9:30 am start. After the session, join our club members for a cuppa and a complimentary sausage sizzle.

Our members have also achieved notable successes in various swimming competitions. Three of our swimmers participated in the Australian Masters Games in Perth in April 2022 and had remarkable performances. You can read about their achievements on our website. Additionally, our young talent, Jemma Schofield, won the State Open Water State Championship at the Masters State Championships in April 2022. We take pride in our club's sense of adventure as well. Recently, two teams of Somerset members swam the distance of 20 km to Rottnest Island in the Aqualife pool.
