Our delicious mountain of goodness has gained national fame, being featured in magazines and blogs all across the country. These massive burritos weigh in at nearly 1 kg and are packed with flavors that can only be found south of the border.
Our tacos are directly inspired by the beach suburbs of Southern California and Mexico. We use homemade tortillas and a perfect blend of paired salsas to create a truly authentic experience.
Our story begins in San Diego, California, where our Californian owner was born and raised near the beautiful beaches. In 2013, he made the journey to Australia in search of the perfect location for his Baja Inspired Restaurant. Along the way, he studied and gained access to long-standing "secret recipes" that were never seen outside of Mexico...until now.
Located at Surf Parade, 75 in Broadbeach, California Tacos is not just a restaurant, but a point of interest for food lovers. We are also proud to collaborate with Greedy Gringo Bar at 1/30 The Esplanade, Bullcock Beach in Caloundra.
