"Took 5 minutes to be seated although restaurant was next to empty and we had a booking. The waitress came over after 20 minutes of being seated to take drink and food order for two. Drinks arrived promptly but after waiting 40 minutes for food learnt that our order was not in the system which was puzzling as it had been written down in an order docket. Once this was re-ordered our food arrived in a further 25 minutes although one of the mains was wrong even though we had confirmed with the waitress before the order was placed. We were given a 25% discount and multiple apologies however this is just an example of how appalling Australian hospitality services are. Must say though, food tasted great and fresh"
"Wow! Authentic Mexican served by friendly staff with local beer on tap and the best margarita I’ve had in a long while. Family friendly and the serves were very generous - we shared an entree and a main and there is sadly no room for dessert - although the Churro Sundae looks amazing."
"While I was back in Australia on leave I caught up with friends and they suggested The Aztec, I love Mexican food. The place is a bit small and was very busy on the Saturday knight we went. The food coming out of the kitchen looked great. We had a largish table and being so busy the staff did a pretty good job considering how busy they where to get most of our meals out at the same time. I had the burito and asked for extra spice and I got it, great burito. I also tried the Jalapeno Poppers again very tasty and spicy. A few of us had them and agreed they where great. Good food and service, might not go again on a busy Saturday night, but I would go back."
"Terrible, confusing and what on Earth? Save your money, nothing even fake Mexican about this. Expensive, tasteless. I've never been so confused by a meal. Had the Aztec delight, it was this wierd salad concoction of broccoli, cauliflower, pienapple, apple, raddish, zucchini and whatever else they had in their kitchen with a soggy tortilla and some bits of chicken. Not even a hint of coriander. The $30 enchilada was the size of a kids meals, drowned in sauce which was... Tasteless."
"We had dinner here last night with 2 kids. Food took forever to come out. Ordered the taquitos and on the menu it says there’s 4, only 2 came out and the server says they normally cut it in half to make 4. Enchiladas were really small, but good. Overpriced for what you get and the servers were rude."
