"I was a former student here. The bullying is horrible and there were so many racist people at this school when I was there (although I never realised the behaviour was racist until high school). Aside from this the school was good when I went. I have friends from this school that I still chat with quite regularly. Not enough homework (for high school preparation) as I still feel overloaded with it at my high school but the work at school was good and I learned lots (I wasn't behind in anything when I started high school). I think they should really have more teachers who actually care about the student's wellbeing and actually try to stop bullying but other than that and the racism, the school is a decent stepping stone for high school."
"Some teachers are INCREDIBLE! But others pick favourites and pretty much just stick to a handful of students to help them get through high school. They just bully everyone that isn't in their handful of "favourites". Make sure you avoid Ms Gardner she tends to pick her favourites. The kids, don't get me started, many were caught on school grounds vaping and the school got the police involved. Another HUGE issue is kids having weed in their bags and the stench is terrible, not a great place with huge amounts of bullies. If you can choose another school please do. That's my review and good luck. Don't go there if you don't have to."
"The school has very good teaching up to grade 3 Parents can also help with induction in the beginning. But from grade four and on wards everything starts to go down hill - no homework parents don't have a clue what there learning. Our kids dropped from quite a high level to halfway, specially in maths. Be prepared to sink an extra $3-4 grand a year for extra training, from outside sources, to get them up to speed. After 1 to 2 years, they have finally now improved, hopefully enough to get them through high school."
"Pretty cool school with amazing out-of-school events and has good opportunities. Survived 8 years and now in year ten. One bad thing is that Mrs McGowan was so strict and very disrespectful to every student she had talked to (including me. many times.) but other than that i’m definitely looking forward for my kids to go here."
