"If I could leave 10 stars I would. I have seen Dr Anjana for two pregnancies now and she has saved two babies when other Sonographers missed or recently misdiagnosed. My first pregnancy was in 2017 and Vasa praevia was missed by other ultrasound services. I was monitored thoroughly by Dr Anjana and my Obstetrician and delivered a healthy baby boy at 34 weeks. I will forever be grateful for the exceptional care I receive. I walked away after every scan knowing what was happening and what was sighted and for me personally that honesty and on the spot transparency was a huge stress off my shoulders. Following my sons birth I then went on to have gynaecology issues and a severe infection. I had numerous procedures that followed and Dr Anjana was still by my side doing all my scans and still offering her opinion to my Doctor and I knew and took comfort that I had the best care and still had my team around me. I have so much respect and take great comfort with Dr Anjana that I politely refused to be scanned by the hospital Sonographers and was granted permission to travelled from my hospital to Dr Anjana because I needed her opinion when I knew something was wrong. Recently I found out I was pregnant again, I already had discussed seeing Dr Anjana with my husband regardless if I had complications or not but unfortunately before I made 7 weeks I started bleeding late on a Friday afternoon so my GP booked a scan at a local generic ultrasound place and they advised I was having a ectopic c section scar pregnancy. They then sent me to a maternity hospital who confirmed it without a second scan and booked me a termination on the following Tuesday but something didn’t feel right so I arrived myself at Dr Anjana’s at 8am on the Monday morning and asked for help and Dr Anjana been the beautiful soul she is and always making room for mothers who need urgent help didn’t hesitate to put me in that morning. Turns out that generic ultrasound Sonographer and that hospital were wrong. My baby was not on my scar but close. I did not need a termination. Unfortunately I’m having another pregnancy with complications but under the care of Dr Anjana and my Obstetrician I feel safe, listened to, everything is explained to me, my health is paramount and my baby has a voice. I’m currently 16 weeks. Dr Anjana’s knowledge is second to none but her biggest quality is she cares about every patient. She will run long on a appointment if a patient needs it or she’ll fit someone in to a already exhausted day if a patient needs her. She listens to her patients and I know on the days that she is running late it’s because she has given another patient the extra time they need to give them the best care. To date I have currently had 27 scans with Dr Anjana and I have another one this morning and from all my 27 experiences I recommend to any expectant woman or female with any gynaecology issues to visit Dr Anjana for a specialised, thorough scan with a truly amazing woman who cares about every patient that comes through the door.
