About Inglewood Primary School
Welcome to Inglewood Primary School, located at 34 Normanby Road in Inglewood, Australia. Our school is not just an establishment, but a point of interest where children thrive and develop a love for learning.
At Inglewood Primary School, we provide an educational environment that fosters academic excellence, as well as a strong emphasis on the arts and physical education. We believe in nurturing the whole child, encouraging their creativity, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
What sets us apart is our unique context, as we have three educational sites. We have a dedicated Kindergarten site, a Pre-primary site, and a Year 1-6 site. To accommodate our parents and ensure a smooth drop-off and pick-up process, we have staggered start and finish times. All classroom doors open at 8:30am, allowing children to settle in and prepare for the day's learning.
For parents who are interested in visiting our school, we offer guided tours led by our Student Leadership team. Simply give our office a call to schedule a tour of our main campus.
We are proud to have Kids Co as our before and after school care provider. Located at our Year 1-6 site, Kids Co also offers transportation services for students attending our Kindergarten and Pre-primary sites. Additionally, they provide fantastic holiday programs for our students to enjoy.
Communication with our dedicated teachers is important to us. We recommend reaching out via email, phone call, or scheduling a meeting in person. Before school may not be the best time for a conversation, as teachers are focused on welcoming students into the classroom. We encourage parents to speak with teachers after school or arrange a suitable meeting time.
At Inglewood Primary School, we prioritize the health and safety of our students. We encourage them to start the day in a healthy way by riding their bikes or scooters to school. We have designated racks for safe storage, and we kindly remind students to wear helmets that are properly fastened. As an inner-city school, parking is limited, so we also encourage students to walk to school whenever possible.
Join our inclusive and nurturing community at Inglewood Primary School. We are dedicated to providing a caring environment that stimulates children's love of learning and prepares them for a bright future.

Reviews of Inglewood Primary School
"love this school and miss it soo much"
"Absolutely terrible. I witnessed some of the younger students vaping in the Woolworths down the street. I cannot express how much this is disappointing to see."
"very good school. all the people saying it is bad have truly not experienced it. I miss it dearly. My only problems are that Ms Strange retired! and that the slushy machine was taken away and Mr G's community songs weren't the best. I feel like they could've been better. However I did enjoy the skipping squad - our school was defs the best. BTN during choir was good (not Mrs Dransfield's mental maths), the assemblies every fortnight were fun. I think the new building is a good improvement and i like how they added an elevator. I hope the worm farm was continued - I feel it was a good responsibility for the youngins. As well as the vege patch. that is a nice thing to teach kids. The canteen food was very nice. especially the teriyaki chicken and the poppyseed muffin. i liked how we had a canteen person who would get the lunch orders before lunch. the responsibility of having someone to check the bags for the tidy teddy, the line leaders, the people who get the lunch, etc. all those jobs help the kids to learn about time management and orderliness. i hate the green faction chant. it is horrid. I was hoping that my years faction captains would change it but they didnt. nobody likes it. Quite appalling. "Zippity doo daa we belong to green my oh my what a fantastic team! plenty of spirit, plenty of cheer we're heading onto victory it's green's turn this year!" it needs to change also having the juniors on the oval at one break and the seniors at another was the dumbest rule ever. no one wants to wait their turn until they can use the oval. it is a communal place! Overall i think this is a good school and it would be five stars but there were some factors from which i had to deduct stars. (also the fact that i was in 3 and a half split classes! they need to be divided between all students!)"
"I am a student in year 4 this school is amazing but I’m scared to go to year 5 there some teachers I don’t like"
"I am a student here and all I have to say is this school is great. The teachers( Especially Mr Ford and Mr Foster) kids, programs, events and the school are all great. If you are looking for a school to be a teacher or a student I highly recommend this school."
