A citrus and nut orchard adds a touch of natural beauty, complemented by the shade of tall trees and a spacious grassy area. Take a seat at the Parsons Grove end of the reserve, where bench seats and a small hard-surfaced path provide a peaceful spot for relaxation.
The perimeter of the reserve is adorned with low-height pine fencing, ensuring a sense of privacy and security. On the Western Avenue side, you'll find a convenient tap for your convenience. Additionally, the Sutherland Street side is home to citrus and nut trees that have been carefully planted and maintained. These trees will continue to grow, providing the community with a bountiful harvest of lemons, limes, mandarins, and almonds in the years to come.
In July 2018, the playground equipment at Parsons Grove Reserve was removed as it had reached the end of its useful life. This decision was made as part of the Playground Framework, which aims to provide equitable and sustainable playgrounds throughout the region. The removal was based on feedback received during a consultation period, ensuring that the community's needs were taken into consideration.
Please note that there are no toilets at the reserve, but you can easily find the nearest one using the National Public Toilet Map.
