Reviews of Edge Early Learning Oaklands Park
"Great place for kids"
"We have been at Paisley Park - Oaklands since 2019. We did have a bumpy start at the centre with turnover at all levels of management. However, over the past 12 months and with the appointment of the new Director, the centre has worked effortlessly to build a strong reputation with families. When considering a childcare the main consideration a parent looks for is the relationship between educators and your child. While yes there was turnover initially, at no point did we feel this impacted our children. The current team of staff in our 3yo room are all fabulous, bubbly, kind-hearted, welcoming and engaging with both children and parents. The centre's full onsite kitchen and chef is always making great healthy meals and a variety of snacks that the kids (generally - its hard to get all kids to eat their veggies) love. It is comforting to know that your child is consuming a healthy variety of produce which is rotated regularly. I highly recommend meeting the Director and taking a walk through the centre."
"We were drawn to paisley park upon their 2019 opening due to the kind and informed educators, as well as aspirational, open, light and engaging environment which they have created, including the outdoors, nature and wildlife. The educators at paisley park Oaklands park are very considerate, kind and present educators. Their debriefs with us upon collection of our 2yo son are detailed and thoughtful which reassures us of their priority for individual consideration and understanding of each child. We love to receive the daily newsletter which details the creative and educational program, and the happenings for the day, and to see photos of our son engaging in the activities. The educators are very communicative and reach out regarding any concerns which is very important to us. We also appreciate the involvement in cultural recognition, and holidays are made to feel special. Our child has multiple allergies, some of which are severe which as a parent is incredibly scary. The resident chef Katie is absolutely incredible. She has put our concerns to rest by ensuring that the daily menus and all ingredients are safe, and this is across the board to ensure there is no risk of cross-contamination. We are very thankful for her diligence, and the way she has collaborated with us to do this is comforting. We feel that the centre as a whole goes above and beyond what we ever expected and we now expect nothing less! It’s a pleasure to be a part of the Oaklands family."
"My son attended this centre prior, the staff are friendly, the environment is clean, the food is delicious and he always came home with lots of stories to tell. He has now moved to a Paisley Park closer to home. We love Paisley Park!"
"We have been at this centre since opening in 2019 and can’t rave enough about it! It has had a change of leadership since opening with new director Vanessa and assistant director Kerri Anne joining mid-late 2020. Their leadership and direction has been crucial in the recruitment of experienced and caring educators. Prior to this happening we weren’t sure we were going to stay but are so glad we did. After checking out a couple of other childcare centres we found them to be boxy, out dated and dull. We love how open, bright, spacious and creative the environment is. You also can’t go past the food at Paisley Park - the menus are so extensive, gourmet and experimental which is great for learning to eat and trying new foods and flavours. Katie, the chef, is fantastic and a huge hit with all the kids. We have a 2 year old and 10 month old that both attend."
