"The intensive English Course here is good. The teacher is great and cares for the children. Good communication with parents."
"Absolute terrible school. They allow parents to abuse you and if you retaliate they take the parents side who started the whole things side. Even if there were other parents who witnessed it. And the school also allows the perpetrators friends to attempt to physically assault you in front of children also."
"Was an old student at this school. When I was going to Darlington, the teachers were alright but they didn't have a handle on bullying. There were no follow ups after getting school counselling, no parents called, no information given to students about what they can do if they are getting bullied (at least, from my own experiences). Favouritism was also a massive problem, especially in circumstances like this. If a child was liked by teachers, all they'd get was a slight tap on the wrist if they did something wrong. On the other hand, the teachers taught pretty good values. I learned a lot of lessons on work ethic, personal and social values, good mannerisms, and character building. It was interesting to see that as I got older, teachers evolved from building their class up to their standards as a group to building each student up as an individual. The teachers I had in Years 4 - 7 were especially great, with their modern teaching techniques that allowed me to study at my own pace (I struggle to focus on anything haha). All in all, I think Darlington would be a pretty good place for kids to start their schooling endeavours."
"It is an amazing school just needs updated computers and technology. It has a very good music program and everyone is friendly in upper primary. Also maybe some new landscaping and a refurnish of the buildings exterior."
