"Fe and her team from Trance Cafe & Restaurant recently catered for our Family Christmas in July. From my very first enquiry Fe was friendly, professional and super helpful. She was able to provide a flexible menu that met our budget and needs. Our traditional 'Christmas' Dinner for 25 guests was delivered to our home hot and ready to serve. There was an abundance of yummy food that was enjoyed by all our guests who ranged in age from 3 to 95. Food included roast lamb and chicken, roast vegetables , a vegetable bake, gravies and sauces etc. + a very popular home-made sticky date pudding & pavlovas that was enjoyed by all. I would highly recommend Fe and her team for any catered event."
"Super friendly and a decent all rounder... I don’t often rank places as 5 star but Trancé deserves it for exceeding my expectations. This new establishment (2022) is tucked away in the thinly populated mostly rural-suburban acreage area of Mudgeeraba in the Gold Coast hinterland. This picturesque area has a few good walks, good coastal views from nearby hilltops, and is well worth a short day trip or suburb hop. I expected that Trancé would have roadside ‘cafe average’ food and coffee but they did better than that. The menu is Filipino plus Aussie, to cater for most customers. The coffee is from Grinders, and is barista quality. The muffins and cakes are home made and just too tempting to ignore. In order to be successful in a low traffic area, Trancé is actually a combo of cafe, restaurant, caterers, local produce, potted plants, herbs and spices, and handicrafts. The atmosphere is open plan and low key, with various items for sale around the walls. The kitchen is reassuringly professional and spotless, and right behind the counter, not tucked away somewhere out back. The service is friendly and any questions are are readily answered. Prices are very reasonable and serves are generous. There is plenty of convenient parking. It is recommended that you dive right into the authentic Filipino fare and check out the Sunday buffet for your return visit."
