"Would give a zero. The rudest staff. Closed the wonderful Woodcoft branch and then Seaford. Forced to go to Christies. Wanted $30 for a cash transaction. One teller for 10 "valued customers" Told I could have used the ATM but had no answer for the multiples of $20 from an ATM. Treated as if I am stupid. Then told I could have gone to Coles. So much for members before profit. Forced into internet banking. Told on another occasion I could do something at the ATM rather than coming into branch. ATM offer not working and I don't feel safe sometimes. Just a terrible branch and staff"

"We joined People's Choice because there was a local branch and the branches were open later during the week and on Saturday too. Then they used the "threat" of Covid to close the local branch for 9 months and when it finally re-opened it shut an hour earlier each day and was no longer open on Saturday. It was renamed a service centre designed to push their financial services instead of customer service and held no cash on site and withdrawals and deposits undertaken via an ATM in the centre of the branch. The closest "branch" with actual tellers is now a 15 min drive and it too closes early and is not open on Saturday and the money lenders have the audacity to promote their organisational priorities as servicing the needs of its customers and the local community.....and the worst part is the person(s) who decided on this new direction of less hours and no service is most likely earning 20x the salary of the frontline workers they made redundant while restructuring the credit union for "our"(customers) benefit. ...Well this disgruntled customer has left the branch in perpetuity and I suggest anyone reading this do the same..."

"Too conservative with their lending criteria. I recently tried to increase my (very small by the avg) mortgage by a small amount to purchase a larger vehicle for my family. Despite being well ahead with my repayments, having some savings and my property value having increased considerably since purchase, I was denied any increase. They claim they don't apply the going interest rate when deciding what someone can borrow, they actually use a figure more than double the current rate. They also apply a considerably inflated living expenses formula. If you spend well under this as I do, they go by their numbers regardless. I've been a member with them for 20 years and they gave me zero help when I needed it. I refinanced my mortgage with a different organisation through a broker and not only got the increase to my mortgage I needed but received a better rate too, and a bonus for giving them my business. PCCU will soon lose my remaining business, and I won't return."

"Been banking here for years Good service. Reduced the stars because now I have to take time off of work to go to the bank. Wages I loose because your not even open on a Saturday. Not happy with your total time cut for anyone working a full time job. Not even one day during the week where you are open later."

"Too many bad experiences from this branch. My partner has an intellectual disability which is on his record. They straight up refused me trying to help as it was not allowed, even though we've been there multiple times before and I've been able to answer for him. The customer service people are just plain rude, seems that they need more training and to learn some respect for their customers. Especially the disabled."
