"A wonderful daycare, with caring educators. Our 2 kids adore it here! A long-term, stable workforce which demonstrates a good facility and provides excellent stability for the children there. An app currently being implemented to improve systems, but even without this communication has been regular and clear to parents. Can't fault it and highly recommend to other parents."
"My son has been going here for just over a year now and the centre is absolutely fantastic. Always neat and clean. MINIMAL staff turnover (all my son's educators from a year ago were still there at drop-off this morning). The educators legitimately are early childhood educators, not just babysitters; really dedicated to the kids' development and wellbeing. The educators are also genuinely invested in the Montessori method, it's not just the name on the building."
"This is our experience as a family, and perhaps other parents have had a different one, can't say, because interestingly, there are no reviews, just one positive and no negative ones for all these years, wonder why. The experience we had (and some other parents actually had very similar observations, and ended up NOT enrolling) was far from nice, I feel guilty for taking my child there, lesson learnt, should have listened to my gut feeling straight away. Here are some things Indigo North Perth could take under consideration and improve in the future: - be more transparent about everything: answer "what do they eat" question with "oh, just food from Coles" is not an actual information for parents who want to know what their kids eat; running to a sheet of paper somewhere where you need to decipher carers scribbling is not very transparent either and I can see how the information doesn't actually get to the parents. - raise the budget by a few dollars and provide healthy options for kids. Honey cheerios and pizza with a blob of cheese on top are not healthy options! I took it for granted that daycare for sure must be cooking their own nice food, but I was wrong, if it's food from Coles, was that pizza a store bought one as well (for babies!!)? - everyone acts nice there, but providing more training to your staff and hiring more experienced staff will only be beneficial to the business but also to the children themselves! Parents will be happier too. Leaving a 6mo flat on their tummy while other babies are running around with no supervision, and there's one, literally one carer on the other side of the yard, is not something I'd wanna see as a mother of that infant. Leaving a kid locked in the pram, cause it's easier for you to manage is unacceptable anywhere (no, not for a sleep time)!!! Frankly, some of the staff seemed frustrated and super busy at times. Sometimes they seemed like they just couldn't be bothered and the little babies were just sitting around, pretty bored or sad on their own. My child was in pretty bad shape for the next 3 days once we finished the first two trial days and finally relaxed more on the weekend. What does that tell you? Cried when taken there and when picked up, which is normal in most cases but your gut feeling is telling this isn't the case. The other daycare we took her to was SOO much different, and the child was happy and smiling at the carers, actually eagerly going to play straight away! The name you take is also an obligation. This business is clearly lacking a good management. You can always call and ask what's going on and ask anything you like, but there's no guarantee you'll find out what you want in the way you'll be really happy that your kid is well taken care of. Supposedly the place is launching an app soon (high time, everyone is using them so things are transparent!), so hopefully that will give more transparency and parents will actually see much better what's going on. Going to a different daycare we could see how much quality difference there was straight away. And my child was so happy! Perhaps investigating what other daycares do well, would be a good option for this Indigo Montessori business to change things for the better. You can't be running a center hoping you don't need to do a good job, just cause Montessori name in general has a good reputation."
"we had a great experience at this center, very supportive and caring. A big thank you to all of the friendly staff who help to make childcare a positive experience for kids."
