Situated within the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct, our Clinical Trial Unit is conveniently adjacent to the Gold Coast University Hospital. With state-of-the-art facilities and professional coordination services, we specialize in conducting phase I-IV clinical trials.

As a Core Research Facility of Griffith University, we support our staff and collaborators in conducting a wide range of investigator-initiated trials across various therapeutic areas. Additionally, we offer trial services to commercial clients, including the biotech, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and complementary medicine industries, as well as clinical research organizations.

To ensure smooth operations, we kindly request that all facilities and services be booked through our iLab application. By doing so, we can efficiently utilize our growing network of clinicians and capabilities, along with our extensive database of patients and healthy volunteers, to support an even broader range of therapeutic areas.

At the Clinical Trial Unit, we provide participants with the opportunity to engage in clinical research within a supportive and safe environment. We are always seeking both healthy volunteers and individuals with specific health conditions to participate in a wide variety of trials. In addition to our commitment to medical research, we are proud to announce that six of our researchers have been awarded a total of $2,647,686 for their DECRA projects. We are also actively promoting gender equality and encouraging children to engage in STEM through a groundbreaking children's book.
