About Harold Boas Gardens
Welcome to Harold Boas Gardens, a stunning establishment located in West Perth, Australia. Situated at 162 Colin Street, this park is not just a point of interest, but also a must-visit tourist attraction.
Named after the renowned architect and former City of Perth Councillor, Harold Boas, these gardens offer a serene and tranquil environment for all visitors. As you stroll through the park, you will be captivated by the beauty of the lake, the soothing sound of the waterfall, and the mesmerizing rock cascade.
With its vast grassed areas and well-established trees providing ample shade, Harold Boas Gardens is the perfect place for city workers to escape the hustle and bustle of their busy lives. This oasis of greenery offers a peaceful respite where you can unwind and rejuvenate your senses.
Originally known as Delhi Square, this park underwent redevelopment in 1976. However, as a testament to its rich history, many of the original trees planted back in 1900 were retained and integrated into the redevelopment. These majestic trees add to the charm and character of the gardens, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere.
Harold Boas Gardens is not only a picturesque destination, but it is also a popular choice for wedding ceremonies. With four designated areas set aside for these special occasions, couples can exchange their vows surrounded by the natural beauty and tranquility of the gardens. It is no wonder that this location is highly sought after for creating unforgettable memories.
At Visit Perth, we acknowledge and pay our respects to the Whadjuk Nyoongar people, the Traditional Owners of the lands and waters where Perth city stands today. We honor their rich cultural heritage, both past and present.
We also want to provide a cultural sensitivity warning to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This website may contain names, images, voices, and videos of deceased persons. We approach this content with the utmost respect and sensitivity.

Reviews of Harold Boas Gardens

"Quiet place for a quick afternoon nap. Gorgeous gardens and ponds."
"One of the best little garden.Very well designed and well spaced plants, trees and water body.A very tranquil place to pass your time with."
"Lovely shady Park with a multi-tiered water course providing a calming background sound as it cascades gently down the layers. Friendly rats and bin-chickens to keep you entertained."
"I like the little pond and the small rippling fountain inside the park. The park is spread across quite a good amount of land. The little wooden bridge, I find, adds more beauty to the park and is a point of attraction for the young kids. Plenty of black swans are visible here at the park. It is a nice place to bring the young kids who can enjoy the rides here. Even for the parents, there are plenty of benches all around the park. I enjoyed basking in the sun, sprawling on the beautifully maintained lush green surface of the park."
