Welcome to Royal Lockwood Reserve, a newly opened fenced playground located in Yokine, Australia. This establishment, park, and point of interest is the perfect place to bring your family for a day of fun and adventure.

As you enter through the gate, you'll be greeted by a charming mix of nature play and traditional play equipment. To the right, you'll find balancing logs, stepping logs, and a wooden teepee surrounded by a thick bed of wood chips and natural shade trees. These trees were retained from the original lot, adding a touch of natural beauty to the playground.

Following the footpath down, you'll come across the center of the playground, which features a large sandpit with fine white sand and traditional style equipment. The main structure includes two slides of different heights, one straight and one curved. The higher level offers a steering wheel and a fireman's pole, while the base features a shop and a counting game tucked away in the shade.

Attached to this play structure is a set of monkey bars and a flying fox, perfect for older kids seeking a thrilling experience. In the sand, you'll also find a spring rocker and a swing set with a toddler swing and a regular swing, which are always a hit with the little ones.

To the left of the playground, you'll discover hopscotch squares and a down-ball court. The hopscotch squares are a favorite among children, providing endless hours of fun. Adjacent to the hopscotch area, there is a picnic area with park benches and a picnic table, surrounded by young gum trees that will one day provide ample shade.

Although some areas of the playground are not currently shaded, the City of Stirling plans to install shade sails in the future. The fenced-off design ensures the safety of your children, allowing them to freely explore and play without worry.
