"I was in there Wednesday, l had been out in the sun all weekend sunscreen on but l could feel a cold sore coming on my lip . The staff member sold me FAVIC $23.50 for 3 tablets, she ashored me that it would work to stop it coming up That was $23.50 a complete waste of my money and l would not go to that chemist again."
"Chempo Chemist at Benowa Village is a fantastic place to get any medical accessories, medication, gifts and remedies. This store also has a newsagents stand to get lotto entries, scratchies and limited stationery. The staff are amazing from the pharmacist Christine and Sarah to the assistants, they are like family. They get to know you as somebody not just a consumer. They even have a service where you can keep your scripts there so you never lose them."
"I remember coming to this store when it first opened many years ago. Since opening the team have looked after every continuous medication I have been on to date. I cant begin to explain how exceptional Christine and the Team have been to me. I have always been treated with humility and the upmost of respect by everyone. Every single time. I don't believe they get enough credit for the vigorous work that they all do. I will admit i'm one of the more difficult customers to deal with and not once have the Team ever shown a negative emotion towards me. A couple years ago things were quite difficult (as i'm sure with everyone). During this time not only did i have my hand held through difficult medication changes with free webster packs and great advice, but I always remembered Christine asking how I was doing and if everything was ok. It's kind of an unspoken thing between us but ill forever be grateful for the kindness shown over a substantial period in my life. There are not enough hats in the world to take off for the Team at Benowa Village Chempro. I cannot recommend them enough. The Team have been able to solve every single query or issue i've had over the many years of trading. The sense of community at this chemist has always been beautiful, people have always been happy and content each time i've come into the store. Sorry this is a lot but to be fair i've been coming here for as long as they've been open! Thanks so much again to everyone at Benowa Village Chempro for always looking after me and having nothing but the best interest in mind. You guys rock!"
"I was quite appalled when going in today to purchase a prescribed medicine for my poor neighbor friend who's tested positive for COVID 19. The whole family was down and she has to have this medicine to treat her asthma. She asked me to go to get the medicine for her. She called the facility in advance, and the answer was yes I could go in on her behalf. When I got there, explained why I was there, the lady staff/ cashier who first received me, gave me the look of disgust, turning around and asked other staff if anyone had received the phone call regarding this matter, at the same time, loudly said 'I am not going to touch that thing (prescription paper) and came back towards me (as a customer), "Is that her cash too!?". As individual human beings, we are entitled to our own fear and various emotions, however, this kind of behavior is NOT acceptable. She then grabbed a couple of pieces of tissues, passed the prescription paper to the pharmacist behind the counter, came back and vigorously wiped the counter without evening looking at me and advising me, as a client, what to do next, whether I should wait or I should just disappear!!??? Hand hygiene has been a no brainer a major part of professional approaches, wherever needed. WE ALL GOT THAT. It's obvious that I had that aspect covered since I got to the counter. The person SHOULD NOT work in the pharmacy if she/ he has this kind of attitude. At the pharmacy, YOU DEAL with people with somehow, somewhat, some kinds of sickness on a regular basis. It was appalling and was absolutely unacceptable to show that kind of reaction towards any client. A little later, another staff came, called the name on the prescription, took the money with a smile, without unprofessional gesture. We live in the time where kindness is needed more than ever. Sensible and professional approach to the situation is what's lacking. I still can't believe what I had to witness and experience."
