About The Front Page Cafe
Welcome to The Front Page Cafe, a charming establishment located in South Plympton, Australia. As a cafe and restaurant, we are dedicated to providing our customers with an exceptional dining experience that combines delicious food, friendly service, and a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Established in 2016, The Front Page Cafe is proud to pay homage to its rich history, which dates back 24 years. Our cafe is situated in what was once Forbes news agency, adding a touch of nostalgia to our modern setting. The owner and operator, Jak, has a personal connection to the area, having grown up around the Forbes complex. In 1999, his father opened the South Plympton Bakehouse, creating a strong family presence in the community.
When the opportunity arose to lease a shop in the complex, it felt like fate for Jak to transform it into a coffee shop and restaurant. Drawing on his family's expertise and passion for wholesome food, The Front Page Cafe was born. Our menu features a range of fresh and nutritious options that are crafted with care and made from high-quality ingredients. Whether you're joining us for breakfast, lunch, or one of our wood-oven pizzas, you can expect a delightful culinary experience.
At The Front Page Cafe, we take pride in our commitment to supporting local businesses. We roast our own coffee beans locally, ensuring that each cup of coffee we serve is of the highest quality. We believe that by ordering directly from us, you are not only enjoying delicious food and beverages, but also contributing to the success of a small business.
Our cafe is open seven days a week, offering a bustling community hub where friends and neighbors can gather, share stories, and enjoy great food in a welcoming environment. We are passionate about creating a space that fosters connection and community, and we couldn't be happier to be a part of it.
We invite you to visit The Front Page Cafe and experience the warm and friendly atmosphere for yourself. Reviews of The Front Page Cafe
"I was so surprised to find such an awesome cafe on Marion rd in a small group of shops. It’s the least expected location for a cafe with good food, great service and efficient delivery. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza take away, a cinnamon scroll, yoghurt granola’s and ricotta cannoli. We will definitely go here again but next time we will eat in as there was also a great atmosphere at this cafe. Update: went back to this cafe to dine in which was a good experience all round. Good food and drinks. Friendly service and great vibe"

"What a fabulous place. Our food was amazingly fresh, tasty and prompt. Vegetables are seasoned nicely so you don't get a tasteless grilled tomato or mushrooms on your plate. The Vegetable breakfast was so good as was the house-made granola and eggs benny. Great coffee, friendly staff and super quick service of meals inspite of them being at capacity. Well done guys you're obviously a well oiled machine with a passion for healthy delicious food."
"Had an absolute fabulous lunch at this cafe. Saw the Google reviews & it did not diappoint. We went with a friend who is a vegetarian & he had the mushroom & halloumi burger. Hubby had the garden gnome burger & I had the BBQ cheese burger. Also tried their desserts, so good. Very fast service, our food came within 10 mins of ordering & staff cleared plates away as soon as we were finished. Will def be back. Absolute stellar service."
