Maries Pizza

"Pizza was very very oily. Oiliest pizza I have ever had. Almost like it was deep fried. We never received a drink with the order. The delivery guy said they ran out of drinks however once I rang the store they sent out a drink. Pizza was tasteless from the amount of oil on it. I re edited the post as I got food poisoning from it also stuck in the motel while on holiday…..just great. There’s a lot better pizza out there. Avoid Marie’s!!"

"I recently tried Maries Pizza in Mermaid Beach, and I must say, I was satisfied with my experience. Price: While slightly on the higher side compared to other pizza store. However, its local business in Gold Coast & staff were helpful, that justifies the cost. Cooking: The pizzas were cooked well, with a perfect balance of crispy and chewy crust. Toppings: The pizzas were generously topped, and the flavors blended harmoniously. The use of quality ingredients was evident. Garlic Bread: The garlic bread was similar to what you'd find at other pizza franchises, which was still enjoyable as a side option. Overall, if you're in the Mermaid Beach area and looking for a tasty pizza, Maries Pizza is worth considering. The prices may be slightly higher than other pizza chains, but the well-cooked pizzas with ample toppings make up for it. Give them a try and see for yourself."

"Saturday: Ordered a pizza via DOORDASH and rang the store to confirm the order. The store sent a completely wrong order (a pizza I could not eat) (after waiting for an hour). Spoke to 3 staff to explain including the manager. They couldn’t have cared less. Didn’t even bother to offer to send the correct pizza. Manager said oh we just made a mistake. Zero accountability or customer service. As a local I Won’t ever purchase from this store again,"

"This was my first time ordering pizza from Marie’s Mermaid Beach I ordered the large chicken $17.90, my first impression when I picked it up is it looked small for a large. I got it home and was happy to see it was very hot. The pizza itself was over sweet and fairly oily. There was very little chicken and somehow I was expecting better in presentation instead of crusty cheese covering everything, the service was excellent upon pick up and very friendly."

"We ordered the gluten free pizzas from mermaid and they were uneatable. They were so undercooked to the point where we waited an hour to eat to the have to cook. $60 down the drain. Contacted but had no response thus the review. Opportunity to rectify but was pretty pathetic to just ignore the situation"
