Reviews of Canungra Water Treatment Plant
"Sick of the irregular water quality. One day the water is fine, the next it has so much chlorine it tastes like pool water."
"The Water Filling station works well and water is available for approx. $5.00 for 1000 litres. The Filling station is open 24 hrs a day. There are two filling points at the station. 1" screw on outlet 6" Camlock outlet CHECK BOTH OUTLETS ARE CLOSED - Before starting your fill. Water comes out at very high pressure, so make sure your connections are solid and well connected. The water is crystal clear and with little taste. The Filling Station is maintained by Urban Utilities Qld. If there is an issue they usually respond quickly."
"Town water is DANGEROUSLY CHLORINATED! Before placing a filtered glass of water to my mouth, I can smell the chlorine. What is that all about??? Surely there's a regulation in place to check the safe quantity used? I am sure people who drink this water and who are trusting it is safe to drink are eventually going to be diagnosed with all sorts of problems or God forbid, serious diseases."
