Welcome to West Coast Secondary Education Support Centre (West Coast SESC), a government Independent Public School (IPS) located in the suburb of Warwick, just 18 kilometers from Perth, Australia. Our institution is dedicated to providing quality education and support to students with special educational needs in Years 7-12.

We are committed to helping our students develop skills that are relevant to their individual needs and empowering them to take pride in their achievements. Our dedicated staff members work closely with each student to ensure they have access to the resources and support they need to reach their highest potential. We understand the importance of preparing our students for the ever-changing and diverse society they will encounter in the future.

Our curriculum is designed to be authentic and relevant, covering a range of subjects including English, Maths, Health and Physical Education, Zones of Regulation, Workplace Learning, ASDAN, Bushrangers, Protective Behaviours Education, and You Can Do It! We also create individualized education plans and transition plans for each student, outlining their objectives while at school, at home, and in the community. These plans serve as the basis for reporting student progress to parents.

In addition to academic preparation, we also focus on preparing our students for the workforce and leisure activities. We have a high success rate in helping our students enter the workforce, participate in recreation programs, and even set up their own mini enterprises after school.

At West Coast SESC, we promote acceptance and tolerance of individual differences in ourselves and others. We foster open and positive communication and encourage all members of our community to engage in decision-making processes. Our staff members are encouraged to attend ongoing professional development sessions to enhance their skills and knowledge.

For transportation, the Public Transport Authority (PTA) provides transport to West Coast SESC for eligible students through the School Bus Service.
