One of our remarkable machines reduces the pulp temperature of the potatoes to 8˚C, preserving their freshness for longer. Additionally, we employ an industry-leading 4-stage washing process. Starting with a soak tank to loosen the soil, we then move on to barrel washing and utilize dual veggie-polishers with variable brushing technology. A final rinse through the super washer ensures the utmost cleanliness before we hydro-cool our potatoes. We also incorporate a sponge-drying process for all our washed potatoes.

Quality Assurance is of utmost importance at Supa Spud. We have been accredited with the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing since 1997 and have continuously improved our processes to maintain our accreditation. This certification assures our customers that our potatoes have been produced, processed, and handled according to the highest standards. In 2016, we also became accredited to HARPS (Harmonised Australian Retailer Produce Scheme), further demonstrating our commitment to compliance with food safety, legal, and trade legislation for suppliers to major grocery retailers in Australia.
