"Never ever post reviews, however the barista I had today here was so rude. Had an extremely unpleasant experience when she gave me the wrong coffee order. I politely said 'sorry this is the wrong order' to which she then snapped at me, saying 'well you didn't order that', and 'I didn't hear you say that'. Blaming me for not hearing my order correctly? Such unnecessary attitude and rudeness towards me. A tiny mistake which can easily be fixed by just whipping up the correct coffee order, but instead met with that rudeness towards a customer, I will definitely not be back. Absolutely no need to be so unfriendly. Ruined my morning."

"Definitely stop in here for lunch if you are working near by and support this local business who are awesome at what they do. Quality food ready to go. I’ve been here several times and I am actually impressed. I don’t usually buy lunch because I’m really fussy when it comes to food. I’ve been working in Broadbeach for the last four weeks. Most days the the guys that work with me get lunch here. Seeing what they get each day is alway intriguing. Each time I have personally been here the staff have been warm, helpful and attentive. I appreciate the range of food options. I couldn’t see a menu for the pies so I asked one of the staff preparing food as the server was dealing with the other customers. He was helpful and able to answer all my questions and get me what I want from the cabinet. It’s refreshing to be able to go somewhere, get quality food, eat and still be back at work in 30 minutes. It’s a solid value proposition keep up the awesome work. Please don’t let the people who leave bad reviews stop you from coming here. From reading their reviews and actually going to the place those reviews are not accurate. They seem like serial complainers who just want attention. You can’t please all people all the time."

"This is a true experience of great food at great prices. Excellent service to go with it. It's awesome to have a store open until 9pm in the back streets of Broadbeach. Its so close to home and the prices are very good. I visit 3 Times a week to just stock up on basics. I give a high stamp of Approval on this Convenience store"

"The Spar Express Broadbeach now has a sandwich bar and a 'hole in the wall' coffee bar to compliment the supermarket goods. The coffee is tasty and not bitter. I found it smooth and enjoyable. Today we got sandwiches from the sandwich bar. You complete a sheet (see photo) and tick or cross what type of bread you want and what you want on it. A huge range to choose from. Reasonably priced and you won't go hungry. I really enjoyed my chicken and salad sandwich on multigrain bread. Service was quick. After placing your order you sit outside on a bench and the completed order is handed to you through the 'hole in the wall '."
