Welcome to HOPAK Ukrainian Dance School, located in Hindmarsh, Adelaide, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are proud to operate within the Association of Ukrainians in South Australia (AUSA). Since our establishment in 1972, HOPAK has thrived thanks to the unwavering support and dedication of our staff, volunteers, community members, and dance families.

Dance is an essential part of Ukrainian celebrations, and our namesake, Hopak, is Ukraine's national dance. It is a vibrant and energetic display of acrobatic leaps, kicks, and spins that embodies the spirit of Cossack folk dancing. At HOPAK, we offer a dance program that caters to students of all abilities, fostering an appreciation for Ukrainian culture through unique choreography, lively music, and elaborate costumes from various regions.

Our dance classes are designed for students ranging in age from 3 years to young adults, and rehearsals take place on Friday evenings at the Ukrainian Hall on Orsmond Street in Hindmarsh.
