Reviews of Six Senses The Quay
"Service was cold, unwelcoming and inattentive. Had to call the waitress over after 15 minutes of setting waiting to order. Noticed the same from the tables around us. Ordered the chicken thai green curry, vegetable pad thai and duck curry. The food was good without being great. Tasty enough, but you'd find as good for far less price on Uber eats. Underwhelming"
"Not much to write here. Location is good. Atmosphere is absent. Service is barely existent. Food is INEDIBLE! To quote my dining companion:”won’t eat here if they paid me.” Save money and calories, not worth either one."
"Great food but quite pricey for what you get. The Paf Thai was awesome and the scallops for starter. The cocktails are very expensive for what you get. They were sold out on a lot of the items on the menu even though our dinner was at 6pm. The dessert with the bananas was under average."
"To be honest, we visited Six Senses and we had the Thai soup, vegetarian dishes and noodles and I wouldn't go back there. Simply because the taste was the similar to a takeaway. Maybe it's just me however this is my opinion. For the prices that they ask for the food I expected more. Also, I expected to feel more lemongrass flavour in the soup as Thai food is renowned for adding lemongrass in its dishes. I prefer going to to Thai restaurants in the neighborhoods surrounding Perth CBD as the prices are lower for the same taste. What i did like was the fact they added a lot of shrimps in the soup and octopus in the noodles. But again, I don't believe it's worth the price as the flavour is just mediocre especially since on the menu they advertise renowned chefs. Service and atmosphere were excellent. For sure you pay for the location. Anyway if you eat there I hope you enjoy!"
