"Don’t waste your money. The “lifetime warranty” is actually just a straight lie and they will charge you to have stones replaced. And trust me you’ll have stones replaced multiple times. The warranty terms and conditions also breaches Australian consumer law regarding major and minor faults in products and the stores obligation to repair or replace the item free of charge.. after terrible dealings with this company I’ve lodged an accc complaint and suggest everyone avoid this place. If your unlucky enough to have already fallen victim to this scam, I recommend lodging a complaint with the accc so that hopefully more consumers don’t have to deal with the atrocious service and dismal quality of these products."
"One star is generous. After now reading reviews on the poor quality of products this brand sells, my situation isn’t even a surprise. My partner purchased a ring worth $799 for me for Christmas, by the 9th of January it had already lost a gemstone, so my partner had to take it back in, then we waited a few weeks to receive it back & then a few weeks after having it back, again another gemstone fell out by the 1st of March and we’ve had to take it back again. Less than three months old and have already lost two gemstones, for a ring worth $899 this is ridiculous. What’s worse is being expected to pay $190 for a replacement gem and reset. My partner went in to pick up the ring & was told they’d hope I gave them another chance, I got in there the next night and was told to come back (I don’t have time to be up and down the highway to this store. Absolute waste of time, was told I’d receive a phone call & never have. Pathetic customer service. The new lady was lovely & offered an exchange but then the manager said no, I have to buy a new ring & give my old one in to receive 30% off, I’d rather take my money elsewhere than waste another cent here."
"I wanted to make a conscientious effort by having a lab made Diamond for my forever engagement ring. As much as my partners insight & better judgement knew, we purchased from secrets. Within three days not only was the diamond cloudy but bizarrely, loose from its claws. Given it was within three days, emotions high and my effort to protect the delicacy that was my beautiful engagement ring - it wasn’t knocked, it was taken off to shower, moisturize and clean. Disheartening and disappointing in respect of my partners investment. The silver lining is the lady that first sold us the ring, also helped us with our return and the refund was pleasantly obliged. (This is the reason it is not a 1 Star)"
"I have been a huge fan of these products for many years now , I own multiple items of jewellery and have asked loved ones to purchase all my bday gifts from this store. We also have two daughters that we buy one item of jewellery each birthday. However my experience with a faulty item was horrible. My partner got me a pair of beautiful hoops for Christmas! One day whilst wearing the hoops, I’d looked in the mirror at a service station after just fueling up and noticed there was no earring on one side , it had fallen out and I had no idea where it had gone. I went into the store explained what happened. They sent the earring away to head office, it come back that there was no fault. The manager said it must has been my fault, offered a replacement pair for $107 “good will “ they called it ! offering a replacement with a fee ! Good will ?! I reluctantly paid the $107 for the second pair as they were sentimental and I really wanted them back asap. The very first time I wore those earrings, the exact same thing happened ! Whilst at work taking my disabled client to church expect this time the earring fell out in-front of me and landed at my feet, the back had slipped off and I couldn’t find it. When I called the shop and asked for a full refund on the item including the extra $107 I paid I was told to come in. They refunded the $107 for the faulty pair replacement and took the earrings back off me, then told me it was my fault not theirs and not possible to have this experience as their product isn’t faulty. I was mind blown, I was extremely frustrated and upset as the manager was saying things like “ your the only person this has happened too “ … it wasn’t the point of the money , it’s the principle of ripping someone off when your supplying a faulty product and not taking responsibility then being condescending to the customer about it. Not to mention my partner had picked out our engagement ring and our daughters upcoming birthday present but we now refuse to use this company ever again due to the poor customer service experience and the cruel handling of the situation. So we lost out on a $179 and they took all the earrings including the faulty single earring from the first pair. One very disappointed ex shhh customer."
