"Worst experience of my life. Went there nothing you can say is okay. So arrogant security staff, they are just think they are king of new york but they are nothing. They are misusing their power. They are kicking out the people for no reason. Even if they are not even drinking. And 0/10 to party management staff, no bins to throw the empty glass of drinks. People drinking on the same table and leaving glasses on the same table, so disgusting. Bar tenders are also so arrogant, they just don’t care what you are ordering, they just give you alcohol in soft drink. One of mine friends order the LIT she just give the alcohol in the soft drink. Totally useless to go there, i will prefer to stay home. Rather than going there, just waisting of your good time, and night out."
"What is not to love about metros. Usually there for a DnB night and a good rave but went for an Irish music night recently and was just as impressive. It must be an amazing feeling from the stage looking at a mass of people looking down. Anyway, lots of viewing locations. Great sound. Great lighting and lots of different bars which is awesome for busy nights."
"The toilets were shocking people were falling over . They sure do have a bunch of nut heads in security who dont even know how to behave at a hospitality venue let alone managing the crowd. They have no manners and came up as showing off their personal frustrations for no reason ."
"Really awesome coming here and seeing the set up Metro's city is still able to pull off. I went to the Delta Heavy concert last night and it was just amazing. I haven't seen lighting displays like that before, and the sound set up was second to none. Unfortunately though the security staff at the event weren't very nice at all. Doors opened at 9pm and I got there an hour late, but the place was still empty. So I asked if I could pass out, and the security guard was so humourless it wasn't funny. It was like he was trying to show as little emotion as possible. As if he read a book the night before called "how to be a security guard" and rocked up the next day. I understand these guys manage some pretty deplorable behaviour at times, but I think it was pretty clear I just wanted to ask a simple question, and was being generally friendly at the time. And he was being so clearly unfriendly. You then compare that to how they managed the 12 or so people repeatedly dancing between the barricades and the stage. What's the point of the barricades being there? The security would come once every half an hour and gently ask people to move out, and they'd come right back straight away. There were some people, one guy in particular, that they'd even let stay there once they'd moved people on. And this guy was actively encouraging people from the audience to come back. All they had was a tiny red piece of fabric the "block" the entrance to the walkway between the barricades and the stage. With no security positioned there, and just this tiny piece of fabric there, of course people aren't going to respect it. And the security would just sit there and watch it happen from the other side of the stage. It just doesn't make sense why the security would be so unkind to someone being generally friendly and just looking for a simple answer to a simple question, but then people who are really being unruly, breaking the house rules, and not following instructions when told to leave that area, are given a free pass to do what they want and come back to do it all over again. It just makes no sense. So overall, an amazing show but very poor show by security."
"Me and my friends went there for the Ferri Corsten event. The lasers were great and so was the sound for Corsten's set. The last dj was supposed to play 1.30-2.30, but they lowered the sound and cut the music off at 2am with no explanation to why the event ended earlier. They also sell pretty much redbull vodka only. How many redbulls can someone drink in one night?"
